Creating a Positive Environment for Our Children.

Three-Year-Olds (Room 6)

Danielle Chetcuti

This is the start of my fourth year at Assumption Nursery School, and my first year as lead.  I have an associates degree from Macomb Community College and I am planning on continuing my education in Early Childhood Development.  I am eager to start the 2019-2020 school year and to witness the amount of growth that will occur in these little ones over the course of the school year.

This will be my first year working at Assumption.  I have an Associates Degree from Macomb Community College, and am currently enrolled in Early Childhood Studies program at Macomb.  I have been a nanny for eight years, caring for children three months to ten years old, including children with special needs.  For two years I worked at a summer school program for elementary aged children with Autism.  For the past five years I have been the nursery school teacher for children under five years old at my church, along with teaching Sunday School lessons.  I was also a teacher’s assistant for two years at a preschool in Grosse Pointe.  In my spare time I like to read, snuggle with my four cats, hang out with friends and family, and watch Netflix.  I am excited for the school year to see how each child develops, and to see the individual creativeness and imagination they bring to their classrooms.
