Enrichment Classes

Mixed Media Art

Join Ms. Maria as she introduces the children to artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Peit Mondrian, and Wassily Kindinski. With her rich background in textiles and design, Maria will guide the children as they experience different art media and techniques inspired by the artist's work to create their own masterpieces.

Cupcake Decorating

Children will express their creativity and have fun decorating different cupcake designs each week. This sensory experience will develop fine motor skills and enhance language and listening skills as they follow directions.  Children will make two cupcakes each session, one to eat and one to take home.

**This class cannot accommodate all food allergies.

Dance

Students will be engaged in weekly dance activities while being introduced to the dance styles of Jazz and Hip Hop. Miss Nina from “The Turning Pointe Dance Studio” will be instructing the class. Comfortable, flexible attire is recommended.

Yoga

Encourage your child to explore the science of yoga in a creative playtime environment.  Learn simple yoga postures, utilize breathing techniques, enhance physical development, and develop calming tools to assist the child in meeting life’s challenges.  Discover how to combine yoga techniques with stories, music, and imagination.

Young Scientist

The Little Scientists program is designed to teach children about nature, states of matter, chemical reactions and more.  Using items that can be found at home and are safe to work with, the students will learn that science is all about asking questions and exploring the world around us.  The children will have fun experimenting with the “magic” of science.

Music & Movement

Join Ms. Andrea (formally of Gymboree) as she combines music, dancing, musical instruments, and gross motor activities in this lively musical class. Children will be introduced to new sounds and sensory sensations!

Edible Food Art

Children will express their creativity and learn about the 5 different food groups while they create their own snacks using fresh fruit and vegetables, and other ingredients. Some smacks include Cat in the Hat fruit kabobs, and Brown Bear, Brown Bear muffins. A photo sticker will be sent home with your child so you know what they made in class that day!
