I will be starting my 14th year here at Assumption. I enjoy spending my day with the wonderful and loving staff, watching the young friendships develop, and seeing the growth that occurs over the course of the school year. I have an Associate’s Degree in Liberal arts from Oakland Community College. I have one son, Brandon, who is 22 years old and is attending Macomb Community College. I enjoy spending time with my family, working in the yard and walking.

Claudia Kiriazis

I have been at Assumption for 4 1/2 years now and I love it.  Seeing all the children’s happy faces, you can tell it is a place they feel safe and secure.  As a teenager I worked with preschoolers with my mother who owned and operated two Gymboree learning programs in the area.  Since 2005, I have worked as an assistant teacher at two other day care centers in the Royal Oak area.  I am looking forward to spending many years here at Assumption.  I enjoy babysitting, painting, watching movies, doing puzzles and spending time with my family and friends.

Kayla Bellow

This is my first year at Assumption as an assistant.  I have been part of the Assumption family since I was 15 months old and attended all through my preschool years.  I currently attend Wayne State University and am working towards a degree in nursing with a focus in child psychology.  I want to become a pediatric nurse.  In my spare time, I love to travel, hang with my friends and family and walk my dog.
