Our Goals

Curriculum

Our school-wide curriculum is aligned with Michigan’s Standards of Quality for Early Childhood (infant, toddler, preschool and young-fives). All of the above are implemented through child-initiated activities, hands-on learning, student problem solving and creativity.

Revised Standards

The State Board of Education (SBE) approved revisions to the following standards documents on March 12, 2013.

Program Offerings by Age

Infants

For children 12 months not walking defensively.

Toddlers

For children 12 months – 2 ½ and walking defensively. 

Transition Room

For children 2½ through young 3’s who may not developmentally be ready for the structure of a pre-school format. 

Preschool

For children ages 3 and 4 who are fully potty-trained. 

Young Fives

For children who are old enough for kindergarten but would benefit from another growth year. 

Enrichment Classes

Offered for our preschool and young five students. These classes are offered in the afternoon throughout the school year.
