This begins my 12th year at Assumption in the Transition Room. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Michigan University, with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. I have additional course work in Speech Pathology & Early Childhood Education. I enjoy getting to know a new batch of children each year and love to watch how they grow and develop. Each year provides me with a new and exciting adventure. I am happy to be back as part of the Assumption family.
This is the start of my third year at Assumption Nursery School, and also as an assistant for Ms. Sarah in Room 8. I have an associate degree from Macomb Community College and am currently working on a degree in Early Childhood Development. I love being in the transition room and watching the children mature from young toddlers to “big kid” preschoolers by the end of the school year. The growth is truly unbelievable , and I am excited to be in the transition room for the 2018-2019 school year !
This is my second year working part time at Assumption. I work multiple rooms and multiple ages which is a delight ! For the past 7 years, I have been a nanny for 2 fine boys who I adore. In my spare time, I love to read, spend time with family and go boating. My husband and I have three grown children, a MSU grad, a student at GVSU, and a student at WSU.
This is my first year here at Assumption Nursery School. I’ve previously worked as a teacher assistant for 2 years before joining the family here at Assumption. I also spent some time as a nanny to my three beautiful nieces and nephew. Coming into work everyday is a gift getting to watch your little ones grow and develop into their own. I’m so excited to be here and am looking forward to a great year !
