This begins my 11th year at Assumption in the Transition Room. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Michigan University, with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. I have additional course work in Speech Pathology & Early Childhood Education. I enjoy getting to know a new batch of children each year and love to watch how they grow and develop. Each year provides me with a new and exciting adventure. I am happy to be back as part of the Assumption family.
This is my second year at Assumption Nursery School. O worked all of last year as an assistant for Ms. Sarah in the transition room, and was a lead teacher for the 3 year-olds in room 7 over the summer. I currently have an associate degree, and am presently working toward a degree in early childhood development. I love working with children, and am excited to be back in the transition room for the 2017-2018 school year.
This is my first year at Assumption. I love working with the children and seeing all their happy faces. My first 10 years of experience working with toddlers and preschoolers was working with my mother who owned and operated two Gymboree learning programs in the area. Since 2005, I have worked as an assistant teacher at 2 child care centers in the Royal Oak area. I am looking forward to spending many years at Assumption. I enjoy watching movies, doing puzzles, spending time with family/friends and babysitting.
