I am the Toddler Center Coordinator and one of the lead teachers in room 9. This is my 22nd year in the Toddler Wing. I find everyday a joy working with this awesome age group . I am the mother of 2 married sons and am anxiously awaiting grandchildren.
I will be starting my 13th year here at Assumption. I enjoy spending my day with the wonderful and loving staff, watching the young friendships develop, and seeing the growth that occurs over the course of the school year. I have an Associate’s Degree in Liberal arts from Oakland Community College. I have one son, Brandon, who is 21 years old and is attending Macomb Community College. I enjoy spending time with my family, working in the yard and walking.
This is my 8th year at Assumption and I work as one of the lead teachers in the Toddler Center. I also have 14 years of teaching experience working in an elementary school in Pennsylvania. I have two sons, Ian who is working at Oklahoma City National Park as a Park Ranger and Zane who is a senior at Wayne State. My fiancé Erik and I also have two dogs, Boomer and Ila. I enjoy spending time with my family and watching hockey.
This year is my 16th enjoyable year working with the toddlers. I love seeing their smiling faces and knowing they are in a happy and secure environment at Assumption. My husband Jim and I have three sons. We are blessed with three grandchildren; Ethan (12), Madden (4) and Bryson (1) who are treasures in our lives. Jimmy, our oldest and Kevin our youngest are both Michigan State University graduates. Christopher is a Marine and attending college. Jimmy and Diana (our daughter-in-law) and our 3 grandchildren live in Virginia.
I have been working at Assumption since March 2016. My background working with children goes back 30 years. I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education at Eastern Michigan University and my Master’s degree at Wayne State. After a busy day at Assumption, I look forward to being home with my husband, son and daughter.
This will be my 3rd year working at Assumption, I enjoy working with each individual child at every age but primarily working with toddlers. I am currently getting my Elementary and Early Education degree at Macomb Community College. I am excited to see how the school year unfolds.
This is my first year at Assumption Nursery School. I am an assistant in Room 9 and have already experienced great joy working with our toddlers! They make it easy to love this job. I have an 8 year old son starting third grade and we are both excited to be at our schools this year.
