I have been teaching at Assumption for 9 years, although I have been teaching and involved with Early Childhood Education for over 25 years. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education/Psychology from University of Detroit Mercy. I am honored to be a part of children’s first learning experience and journey of becoming a lifelong learner! I live in St. Clair Shores with my husband John and our two sons, Ben and Brent who are both attending Macomb Community College. Outside of Assumption I am very busy teaching the Paper Pals Program for Macomb County C.A.R.E., and selling shoes at JC Penney on the weekends. When not working, I enjoy reading, watching movies and coffee!!
This begins my 15th year at Assumption and I love to see the children’s smiling faces. I work hard to ensure that they are happy and have fun at school. I love seeing them grow and learn throughout the year. I have one son, Steven who is working at UPS and is also going to school to become a Respitory Therapist. I enjoy reading, working in my garden, walking and riding my bike.
This is my 3rd year working at Assumption Nursery School. I am attending Wayne State University as a junior in the hopes of completing a degree in Business Administration. I love working with the preschoolers and watching them grow throughout the year(s).
This is my 4th year at Assumption. I am currently attending Wayne State University studying Elementary Education. In my free time I love to hang out with my friends and family and craft. I look forward to an awesome school year!
